THE EMPIRE THEATRE, LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND

The Pumphouse, Albert dock- pencil drawing and watercolour

Stick and Ink and screen print,

Etchings of ‘The Howl’

The following illustrations are some colour experiments I produced on Photoshop, using a drawing I produced for Allen Ginsbergs poem ‘The Howl’.

This was a hand made booklet I made from my collection of postcards based around Liverpool, Hope st.  They are on seperate pages and can be torn out to become seperate postcards or kept together in the book as a ‘collection’.  The book has been bound together with an elastic band which fits neatly into ridges featured on each  page.

This is a hand made book I made from the Illustrations I produced based on the ‘Liverpool Poets’.  Each Illustration is on its own page sitting to the right of the poem it was extracted from.  Each page folds in to sit neatly as a collection in the book and the title is on the front accompanied by a black sillohette representing it.

This is an Interactive Postcard based on Allen Ginsbergs ‘The Howl’ which I created in the 3D studio.  I created the design on Illustrator and the idea came from my research into the poem and is based around Drugs ‘LSD tablets’.  The Tabs Lift up to reveal the name of the poem underneath; only the tabs with the letters underneath can be lifted.

Illustration based on Poetry by ‘The Liverpool Poets’.  They are a combination of photograph, mono print, drawing, collage, graffitti art, stitch and paint all brought together on photoshop.

Liverpool,Hope St Postcards created on photoshop from a combination of drawings, paintings and photography.
